Screen Tips: What to do if your screen isn’t displaying properly?

1. Press the Windows (on the keyboard) and P button at the same time on the keyboard.

2. A menu will appear on the right-hand side.

3. The main two options you will need is either Duplicate or Extend. To use either option just click on the option.

4. If you select Duplicate, each of the monitors, or monitor and Projector/Touchscreen will display the same

screen.

5. If you select extend lets you view two or more program windows simultaneously, one per monitor or one

program on a monitor and one program on a Projector/Touchscreen.

6. Extend is helpful if freeze isn’t work on the Projector/Touchscreen.

7. In Extend, you can then drag a PowerPoint and drop it on to the Projector/Touchscreen and then use your

monitor to complete work on at the same time.

8. Just a final tip. If it is classroom that you use the Extend option in lesson at the end of the lesson put it back to

Duplicate ready of the next teacher to use the room.
